I have finally got my quality camera working, which means I will be photographing several items, and that means that you'll get better/more frequent blog posts, and they will hopefully be better quality and motivate me to continue on this blogging machine! ;)
I've also changed my header, so I hope it looks more professional, but I'm still not happy with the overall design and wish I could actually afford a blog designer to create me one, anyways, enough with that, I'm off to take some photos! :)

Max Factor Ruby Tuesday!
Max Factor Lipstick in 715 Ruby Tuesday (Max Factor Ruby Tuesday Colour Elixir Lipstick)
I won one of these lipsticks in a Special K giveaway competition, which is still going on I believe, and decided to test it out and give you guys a small review, I apologise in advance for the quality of the images, however I'm still trying to get my SLR camera fixed.

What they say: Colour Elixir Lipstick with Max factor’s breakthrough Elixir Moisturising Complex that give visibly moisturised lips and gorgeous looking colour.
Obviously, I won this lipstick, so I didn't have to purchase it with my own money, however, I will look more into this range of lipsticks (I think I will purchase 'Firefly'), as I believe the quality of this is pretty good for a lower end brand! Firstly, the packaging is lovely and sleek, it looks like it's more expensive than it actually is! The colour itself in the tube looks like a primary red, however when applied it's more leaning towards a deep pink toned red, it really is a classic colour though. The bullet itself has Max Factor's signature 'X' across it, and it smells delicious, (think vanilla cupcakes). The formula I would say is matte, maybe hinting at a slight sheen, but I don't think that it lives up to the 'moisturising' claim, it slightly dried out my lips, so you definitely need to apply a lip balm underneath to actually create a moisturising lipstick! The actual wear of the lipstick is good, and it lasted me around 7 hours, (including eating and drinking), and then it only seemed faded and less intense. I think that it has really good pigmentation, and I will be sure to purchase more of these, as I do love the consistency and think they give a really good colour to your lips, and plus, the colour range is pretty good, I think the range has over 15 colours!
Product: 8/10
Pigmentation: 8/10
Texture: 8/10
Wear: 8/10
Application: 8/10
Packaging: 9/10
Overall: 8/10!
Price: £7.99!
Where to buy: Boots - here, Superdrug - here, and obviously in any stores that stock Max Factor!

Poundland Nails?!
I was in Poundland yesterday, and spotted these acrylic nails by the brand 'Allura' (which I'm guessing is their own brand?), the set came with 24 nails and glue, which I've used to fully be able to test the kit, and have so far think that these are pretty average.
You can see that they look like regular nails, however you can see the glue underneath, making them clear that they are false. I have had about 4 of them come off during the day, but I kept the glue in my bag, so it was an easy fix, but after one days wear, you can tell the poor quality of them. I still have them on, and they seem to be lasting okay, but I'm slightly concerned about the glue from the packet, as it smells of superglue, and for my money, I wouldn't be surprised if it is! It says on the box that to remove them you have to soak them in nail polish remover then wipe off the softened nail and glue, I really hope this method works! I'm going to test them over the Easter weekend to see if they really can last, but for £1, I can't complain, I might just use a branded nail glue next time!
Happy Good Friday! And I won't be posting for a few days, (as it is Easter) and I'm going to my Granddads and he only has dial-up internet, which I'm too impatient to use! :-)

Pastel Jeans!
New Look £16.99
I was so shocked to find so many pastel jeans in New Look, as I find they are a bit hit and miss with the trends, however I was doubly shocked when I saw the price, as they are in my eyes a steal (I ended up purchasing the lilac ones)!
links: lilac, peach, orange, pink
Topshop £38-£40
I love the Topshop jeans and really believe they are lovely quality, however I think some other shops with lower priced pastel jeans are more reasonable. Topshop has a huge variety of pastel jeans, and when you walk into the shop it's an rainbow explosion! If you're willing to pay a little extra, then these are the jeans I'd recommend!
Miss Selfridge £36-£40
They have a varied selection of pastels, not as many as Topshop, yet are still in the same price region as them! Again, they have gone for the super skinny jean, which I guess they assume will flatter all figure types, but it'd be nice to see some regular jeans in different pastel shades!
Dorothy Perkins £25.00
When I was browsing online, I stumbled across these jeans, and I was so suprised over the variety of colours and the price! To be honest, I don't really shop at Dorothy Perkins, as the selection is limited to my style, but I might have to make an exception to pick up the coral colour ones!
Hope you enjoyed reading! Are you a fan of pastel jeans, if so, which is your favourite? :)
